Miruku had a new cut last weekend. Isn't she a lady??♡♡♡

ミルクにニューカットです。とても令嬢になったでしょう♡♡♡

8th December was our 2nd anniversary. This year, Kenichi looked for a restaurant that we haven't been before. It was a little petit french restaurant call Ailes d'Ange where food was great. (hmmm... though not for the duck breast which was a bit different from what I expected :p) It was a cold night, but yes, I'm definitely warmed at heart!!♡*.※・＊

The appetizer and bread was great!! Appetizer was mashed Mackerel backed in tomato paste and cheese!! Wonder if we can make it at home??

And the prima I had was foie gras with balsamic vinegar fungi sauce which was really really great. Yummy yummy, will like to have one more bite... >.< As for Kenichi, he had veges for his appetiser, and the same foie gras as secondo. As for the secondo, I had grilled fish... (can't remember what fish was though:p) and one more main dish was the duck breast mentioned... As for desert, Kenichi's choice was better than mine... pudding without using milk but condense milk instead. It was very rich and tasty, wonder if we can make that at home too, ha ha ha!!

12月8日は2年目の結婚記念日です！！♡今年は謙ちゃんがレストラン探し担当でした。こじんまりのフレンチ Ailes d'Angeをenjoyしました！マジで美味しかったです〜（。。。とは言っても、鴨は想像と違うものになってて、ちょっと苦手な調理法で、期待はずれだったけど。。。>.<）でも全体はとても良くて、心まで暖まったよ♡.*＊。

アピタイザーは砕いたサバをトマトペイストとチーズで焼いてあって、とても美味しかったです。家でマネ出来たりするかしら？？:p　私のprimaはめっちゃめっちゃ美味しかった'フォアグラの網焼き　アスパラガス添え　バルサミコ酢風味椎茸ソース'。ファアグラは口の中で溶けてて、幸せでしたよ〜♡謙ちゃんのprimaは野菜の盛り合わせで、secondoはジュディスと同じファアグラでした。

Secondoは焼き魚でした。。。なんの魚だったっけ？？その後、例の鴨を注文し、デザードは謙ちゃんの方が大正解でした。プリンだけん、ミルクの代わりにコンデンスミルクを使用したそうです。これも家で作れたりするかしら？？

We had pasta with preserved duck egg & zha cai. This menu was invented by Kenichi's father. Fry minced garlic in olive oil, add in chopped zha cai & preserved egg, stir around for about a min, add in boiled pasta. Add olive oil if pasta sticks together, add salt if not salty enough. Done, easy and fast!! But I know, it takes a great deal of courage to try this receipe. What happens if the taste is too wired??!! For me & Kenichi, we love it❤ :p

本日の晩ご飯はピータンザーサイパスタです～え？！と思う人がいるかもしれないですが、以外とおいしいですよ。これは謙ちゃんのお父さんが考えたメニューです。みじん切りしたにんにくをオリーブオイルで炒め、いい香りが出たら、ざっと切ったザーサーとピータンを加え、一分ぐらい炒めたら、茹で上がったパスタを加えれば完成。もしパスタがくっ付いてるなら、オリーブオイルを出し、味が薄いようであれば塩を足せばオッケーです。簡単でしょう！でも、さすがに挑戦する勇気が必要ですね。謙ちゃんと私はこのメニューが大好きですが、いかがでしょうか❤

Last friday, have been pointed out by my father-in-law that I have some funny japanese... If I'm able to conquer this, I'm able to conquer japanese perfectly... Actually, a good friend of mine Nao, said the same phrase from time to time. In the end, there is still a lot more to learn and remember. In order to master one language, I think it will take a whole of a life time to do so!! Or maybe, still not enough. (well, this applies to me only) :p Wonder if I am able to master italian one day...?? which I didn't put any effort on it... :p

As for this blog, in order to let the ones I love to know more about me, I have it written in english and japanese. Both of them is not my mother language though... (wired!!) But I hope those who came to pay me a visit here, will forgive me when I have some funny english and japanese!! And do let me you, so that I can try not to do the same mistakes again! :p

先週の金曜日に、旦那のお父さんにおかしい日本語を指摘されました！！もしこれを直せたら、日本語は完璧だって！！実は、友人のなおにも時々指摘されています。。。結局、一つの言葉をマスターするのは難しいですね。ひょっとして一生かかるかも、もしくは一生でも足りないかも。（あくまでも、ジュディス基準でね^.^）まったく、力を尽くしてなく、勉強も続いていないイタリア語をマスターする日が来るでしょうか？？

このブログは愛する家族や友人を見てもらうために、母国語ではない英語と日本語で書きました。（変だね？？）なので、もし変な英語や日本語があったら、許してね♡指摘の方も待ってます〜。（優しくね）

ちなみに、指摘されたのは、形容詞の後に'の'を付けるべきなのに、ジュディスはいつも漏れてたようです。

例えば：小さいのが→　ジュディスはいつも『小さいが』になってるようです。行けない、行けない。直さなきゃね♡（今、何人か頷いているでしょうね^.^）

Day 3... eat eat eat... deadly full again!!:

This is the 3rd time for Kenichi to come to Hong Kong, so we didn't want to rush time like before, meeting people eating up all famous food in HK. We woke up quite late this morning at around 11:00. And started out at almost 12 noon!! Thought of having hot pot rice at Mong Kok where we saw the day before, but even I forgot that it seems to be available on in the nights. So instead of hot pot rice, ate at HK fast food stores, enjoy some crowded sceneries of HK and headed for dinner with friends, Yammie and Sylvia at Tsim Sha Tsui.

Hotel buffet at Panorama Hotel yummy:p Seems like it is famous for its oysters. Kenichi and I really enjoyed it. (though I'm not a fan of oysters...) In HK, you can enjoy great food in all kinds of categories, but still in an affordable price. But tonight, our friends greet us warmly with this loving dinner! Thank you beauties♥

We are deadly full when we got back to Amy's place. But still 'De De' (my friend with the baby, this is the nickname I call him) insisted in bringing Kenichi out for a bowl of Snake Soup!! Kenichi loved this soup from day one, but for me... No thank you :p I will only take the steamed glutenous rice!!

三日目。。。またまた死にほど食べました！！：

謙ちゃんにとって3度目の香港ですので、以前と違って、人と会ったり、限った時間内にあれこれを食べたりするではなく。ちょっとゆったりしたコースにしたため、この日11時起きの12時出発にしてしまった！！旺角で釜飯食べようと思ったけど、すっかり香港ライフを忘れた私、なんと釜飯は夜のみの所が多いです。（飲茶みたいに、3時までは基本です。）仕方なく、香港ファストフードを食べ、香港をうろうろした。

夜は友人のYammieとSylviaとパノラマホテルでブフェを食べました。 Panorama Hotel

生カキが有名のようで、謙ちゃんが一気にいろんな国のオイスターを食べれて、満足そうだった。後、謙ちゃんの大好きな生ハムも食べ放題なので、おなかをパンパンに詰め込んだよ！！（ジュディスはオイスターと生ハムのファンじゃないけど、ゆったりした夕飯ができて幸せだったわ♥）香港ではいろんな級な料理も手頃で食べれて、まさしく食の王国です！夕飯をごちそうになっちゃって、ありがとう♡

重いおなかを抱えてエミーの家に戻ったら、友達の'デデ’（赤ちゃんのパパで、デデはジュディス付けたあだ名です。）が是非ヘビスープを食べようといきなり夜中の12時を回ったところで、車で迎えに来ました！！ヘビスープは謙ちゃんの好物で、目の前にすると以外と食べれちゃう。。。！ジュディスはヘビスープアウトなので、蒸し餅米ご飯にしたところで、なんど。。。食べれた！！我々のおなかはどうなってるんだとう！

Day 2

Had my favorite 'Yum Cha' with Grandma. Menu is as usual, Steam Shrimp Dumplings, Spring Roll, Steam Buns... hmm yummy!! Of course my favorite Chicken Legs are there too!! (Sorry for the frightening pic!!)

Grandma is as usual, healthy and cute!! She is the most understanding elderly I ever know. She have majong entertaining her days. If there is call for that, she will take the tram for a ride and enjoy the sceneries. She is really a happy old lady that don't like to put worries onto others. I really hope I can go back to Hong Kong more often to spend time with her... (though I only see her once every trip I get back... sorry -_-)

After Yum Cha with Grandma, got back to my Mom's place to packed up my stuffs. I have left them there untouched for more than 4 years!! Finally broke my heart and threw away 5 big boxes of old memories and rubbish. Left 4 more boxes to be send back to Jp... I wonder where will we have the place to put them?? All these 4 boxes are memories of my past, how can I throw them away... but one day when I'm out of this world... all these are just rubbish to others. How some things means so much to you while nothing to others. Whenever I think of this, I remember Ann Franks words, 'I want to go on living even after my death'. I wonder if I am able to achieve this when I die. Will I be a memorable person? Have I done enough deeds to gain such a position?? Am I a useful person? ... OK, I'm out of track, back to my happy trip.

After packing up my stuffs, went to Mong Kok to enjoy typical Hong Kong life. After that join up with Amy & Kevin, and had Hong Kong BBQ together. It was Kenichi first experience. Pocking the food onto the big fork, grilling it above the fire by your own, brushing it with sweet honey!! Lucky it was a big hit for him, he seems to like it too♡ Though it was a little chilly that night, but fun & joy filled up the atmosphere. Wonder if this can last forever!

大好きな'飲茶'を大好きなおばあちゃんと堪能しました。メニューはいつもの蝦蒸し餃子、春巻、蒸し饅頭などなど。。。おいしい〜:p もちろんジュディスの大好きな鳥足も欠かせない（グロイ写真でごめんなさい。）

おばあちゃんは相変わらず、健康で超かわいい♡彼女は私の知ってる年寄りの中で、一番物事を分かってる人です。麻雀で日々を楽しく過ごし、麻雀のない日はチンチン電車を乗って、風景を満喫して、他人にまったく迷惑のかからないおばあちゃんです。もっと帰る頻度を増やせたらいいな。。。（毎回の帰国は一回しかあってない私ですが。。。）

飲茶の後、4年前に実家で残した荷物をやっと整理しました。5箱の思い出とゴミを張り切って捨てました〜残りの4箱は送ることにしたが。。。置く場所は。。。？？この4箱は過去の思い出で捨てことはできないな〜と言ってもいつかこの世にいないときは他人にとってただのゴミに過ぎないですよね。。。自分にとってお金に買えない宝なのに、他人にとって何の意味もないものだ。。。むなしいな。。。これを考えるとなぜかアンネフランクの名言を思い出す、'私は、死んだ後も生き続けたいのです。'自分も同じように誰かの心に残すような人間であるか、誇れるような人生を過ごしたか、誰かの役に立っているのか。。。あれ？！話し大分ずれてしまいました。楽しい旅に戻りましょう。

荷物整理後、旺角に行き、一般の香港ライフを楽しんだ。その後、エミーとキーヴンと合流して、香港BBQをしました。謙ちゃんにとって、初めての体験です。大きいフォックに食べ物を刺し、火の上でぐるぐるとフォックを回転し、たっぷりの甘い蜂蜜を塗ったりして、楽しんでくれたようです♡ちょっと肌寒かったですが、エミー達との楽しい時間は心まで暖まったよ！この気持ちずっと続けられたらいいな♥

Back to Hong Kong again for my friend's baby's full month celebration. Actually you don't always go back taking air-planes for full month celebrations, just that this old friend of mine didn't really held any wedding parties, so as to congratulated them being married and having this wonderful baby, we planned to go back.

Full month celebration: In Hong Kong (chinese tradition), you celebrate a child's birth when they come one month old. Mostly, only relatives or very close friends attend. Within this one month, there are so much things that you cannot do!! Like cutting the nails and hair of the baby, not to show the baby to too many people, rather not praise the baby too much, if not the gods?! (elf??) around the baby will take away the parts you praised!! (maybe that's why you can't allow the baby to meet too much people!!) These are the main things most people follow nowadays, but older grandpas and grandmas will have more rules that you can't imagine!! Like me, I don't know much about traditional rules, I touched the baby's hair during the party, where this relative came running up and say 'you shouldn't touch the hair'... my friends didn't mind at all though, but you must be really careful with the elderly!!

We went to the dinner party right after our flight. However, managed to settle down in Amy's place. (Where she is such a darling to take half day off waiting for us!!) And ate a bowl of yummy Hong Kong noodles before we started off!!

友達の赤ちゃんの満月お祝いのため、一年ぶりに香港に帰国しました。通常はわざわざ飛行機を乗ってお祝いに行ったりしないけど、長年付き合ってた二人は特に結婚式を開いてなく、結婚祝いを含めて、かわいい赤ちゃんのお祝いで行って来ました。

満月祝い：香港では（中国の伝統）、赤ちゃんは一ヶ月満になったときに、親戚や親友でお祝いをしたりします。この一ヶ月の中で、いろいろ制限と規則があります。例えば、赤ちゃんのツメや髪の毛をカットしてはいけない、あまりお披露目をしない、赤ちゃんをほめたりしない。褒めてしまうと神様？？（周りの小人達？？）が褒めてる部分を回収してしまうという伝えがあります。（だから、あまりお披露目をしちゃいけないか？？）これらは主なルールで、おじいちゃんやおばあちゃん達だともっと想像の付かないルールを持ってだろう>.<例えば、パーティの最中にルールに詳しくない私が赤ちゃんの髪の毛を触ってしまって、親戚のおじいちゃんが慌てて走ってきて’赤ちゃんの髪をさわっちゃダメだよ'、ドキッとしたよ！！でも、友達の方はあmり気にしていないから、ちょっとホットした。。。年配の方々には要注意ですね！！

飛行機に降りて、エミーの家で荷物を降ろし（彼女わざわざ半休を取って待ってくれたの！！優しい♡）、大好きな香港麺を一杯食べて、パーティに向かった！！（おなかいっぱいになってしまったけど。。。:p)

Yesterday was known as The Cock Day in japan... I'm not too sure about the true meaning. But it happens every year in November. For this year 11/12 and 11/24 was known as the Cock Day. Where a lot of shrines will sell lucky charms. In Hachiouji where I live, the shrines also takes this day very seriously. Where there are lots of traditional food stalls around the shrines, and people come to join the crowd and fun.

The first time I know this festival, I was told that you buy this lucky charm called 'Bear Claw'（縁起熊手）that will give good luck to your business, where mostly people who owns their own business comes to the shrine.

昨日、酉の日で、例年通りに、八王子の神社が盛大に祝っています。うちから5分もかからない神社も縁起熊手を販売してあり、周りにお屋台ずらりと並んでいます。大好きなお祭りです。。。けど、あまり興味ない謙ちゃんなので、今回は特に回ったりしなかったの。。。11/24の方に誘って行こうかな:p
